Tokaj

Tokaj or Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region – recognized as a first-class wine region – is a historical wine region located in northeastern Hungary and also declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site. In this area you can find unique cellar experience in 500-years-old wine-cellars -in one of them even a Hungarian king was crowned. This is also the land of the “King of Wine”, the golden sweet perfection, which is Tokaj aszú. In one of the largest vineary in Mád you can witness the process of cask aging of wines. You can also participate in vineyard visits where you can get a glimpse of behind-the-scenes of wine making as well.In the wineshop you can buy the wine which tasted you the most.
