Szentendre

Visit this gem with Mediterranean atmosphere full of cobblestone streets, tight alleys in the Danube Bend. The Mediterranean scenery is the heritage of the Turkish, Serbian and Greek settlers creating a unique Baroque atmosphere. Szentendre’s picturesque natural settings have attracted painters and artists and it is also known as Artist’s Village or the Painters’ Town.

Visegrád

Are you a History lover? Excited to travel back to the medieval times? You can find it within 30 minutes drive from Budapest. Explore the Citadel with gorgeous panoramic view over the Danube Bend. Besides the Citadel and Royal Palace, do not miss the Summer Bobsleigh either. There is nothing better than doing an extraordinary activity with your kids not far from Budapest.

Esztergom

Esztergom, with its advantageous geographic location, and being the former capital city, is the seat of the Hungarian Catholic Church. It was the birth and coronation place of St Stephen – the first Hungarian king – as well as the capital of Hungary until the 13th century.  The Basilica of Esztergom is a masterpiece of classicism and the third largest church in Europe located at the Castle Hill with splendid view over the Danube from its cupola.
